About Anahí
Anahí (Ah-na-EE) is an actor, singer, and artist. She grew up a shy Mexican-American theater kid in Seattle, Washington, where at 15, performing in Village Theatre KIDSTAGE’s production of In the Heights opened the door for her hobby to become a home. Today, she is an outspoken, educated performer on track to receiving her BFA in Musical Theater from Webster University's Sargent Conservatory of Theatere Arts. There, Anahi was seen in Alexis Scheer's Our Dear Dead Druglord playing Kit, the fierce new girl in town, as well as taking on Pablo Escobar's monologue in a climax written entirely in Spanish.
Opportinities like these that have allowed her to dive into heritage and strength and have deepened her love for boundary-pushing new works, as well as grown her appreciation for the strong, female heroes leading the stories we love today. Her biggest dream is to originate a future young brown girl's dream role.
Outside of acting, Anahí is a consistent Latino night dinner host, a hand-drawn birthday card giver, a hater of haunted houses, and a lover of color-coded closets and Adele's album, 19.

In both life and art, inclusivity and celebration are at the very core of her values. "Alza la bandera!"
